in Eastern Congo.

Support Kids in Congo Today!

OUR PROGRAMS

In a region decimated by war, CKI provides a safe haven for children who’ve lost parents or been separated from family and community. Our facility, St. Kizito House, located in the town of Bunia, provides children a nurturing living environment, early-childhood and primary education, acute medical care, and tools and resources for them to reintegrate with family and society and live independent, self-oriented lives.

Together with local partners, we also offer educational and financial resources for the whole community to grow.

Nutrition

goalS

The majority of our budget goes toward formula and daily meal programs, ensuring that kids from infants to teens receive the best nutrition for their growing bodies and minds.

CKI’s efforts are focused on identifying sustainable and secure sources of nutrition for children of all ages. Contact us to learn more about our ongoing Formula Campaign and how you can help.

Health

goals

St. Kizito Clinic provides medical care for both our children and members of the surrounding community. We provide life-saving vaccines and other preventative measures as well as emergency and acute treatment.

CKI coordinates with a network of local healthcare professionals to ensure that children are supported through their medical journeys. Contact us to learn more about our Medical Campaign and how you can save lives.

Education

goals

St. Kizito School offers quality primary education to children at St. Kizito House and the surrounding neighborhoods.

CKI believes that education, training, and access to a growing economy is critical for peace and stability. Stay tuned for coming information on the Marrion Academy and the Campaign for the Future.

Professional Training

goals

We offer vocational training for older youths preparing to leave St. Kizito House and enter adulthood. Our programs in carpentry and dressmaking offer tangible skills to find sustainable jobs in the bustling local economy.

CKI knows that Eastern Congo will one day be led by the children and young adults we stand with at St. Kitzito House. Contact us to learn how you can help support their future with Vocational Training.
