THE GIFT OF HOME

Home. Each year, the Christmas story reminds us of those around the world who are displaced and in need of shelter and the great miracles they can behold. At St. Kizito, most of our 88 children – half of whom are under the age of three – were once displaced or born to families who had fled Congo’s violence. Many were abandoned after parents died or fled fighting that destroyed their farms and villages and left them without reliable food, clean water, and medical care. For millions throughout Congo, home is a precious and often impossible dream.

But home is what we offer these children at St. Kizito. Here they get nourishment, shelter, and stability. They get an education at our orphanage school and health care at our resident clinic. But most of all, they get the love and attention that every child, no matter where they live, needs to thrive and prosper.

But this is possible only with your support. Before the year ends, please consider donating to our ongoing MILK DRIVE that covers the $950 a month it takes to provide our kids milk and formula each day.

Help us in giving the gift of home.
